Surfing, Sports Cars, & Snow Fun in Sheboygan WI

We live in Sheboygan WI, a harbor town on Lake Michigan, on “Wisconsin’s Riviera.” Photos taken from our living room window at various seasons over several years. The moods of this freshwater inland ocean change constantly. We also have a rooftop deck, and we’ll next compile a series of photos to show the view from the top. If we can figure out how to add a music track, it’ll likely be “Up on the Roof.” You’re looking straight east; it’s 60+ miles to land on the other side of the lake, near Pentwater MI.

Mt Revelstoke and Nakusp, British Columbia

This slide show is comprised of photos taken on a 2005 trip from Calgary through Banff and Lake Louise AB, westward to Revelstoke BC, then south through the Arrow Lakes region, andback to Calgary via Creston, Fernie, and Crowsnest Pass. The flowers shown on the background of all pages on this site were photographed in an Alpine meadow near the summit of Canada’s Mount Revelstoke National Park.

Robert Redford’s Sundance Resort and Ski Area

This slide show begins with several interior photos at Robert Redford’s spectacular Sundance ski resort in Utah’s Timpanogos range, southeast of Salt Lake City. Click numbers to control horizontal scrolling. The first image is a mural in the Foundry Grill, followed by a hallway with a dramatic collection of photographs. The remainder of the slides were taken along route 92 going westward back to Salt Lake City. Thanks to George Van for this spectacular tour in October 2005.
